In one last feeble attempt to save his corruption-tattered legacy, Sen. Chris Dodd is trying to sell his fix for Wall Street. It’s too bad that this ‘fix’ is more like providing a permanent stockpile of cocaine to an addict than a solution to the real systematic problem contaminating our economy.

What makes this situation truly ironic is that the Bailout King himself is claiming that this new financial reform bill will get rid of bailouts altogether. Does he think the American people are oblivious or just dumb?

Dodd’s bill not only fails to get rid of bailouts, it makes them a permanent entitlement.

If you read The New York Times opinion section, you probably believe the Tea Party movement is made up of a bunch of racist old white men. On the contrary, we are a diverse group—people of all walks of life that are upset about the path Washington is taking us.

I’m 20 years old, and if anyone has the right to be angry about the Obama agenda, it’s young people. This administration has made a commitment to bankrupting my generation. Obama is turning us from Generation ‘Y’ to Generation ‘Why Us?’

Human Events Feature: Obama’s Nuclear Foreign Fallacy

Everyone used to have good laughs when George W. Bush frequently mispronounced “nuclear” as “nuke-u-lar,” but at least he understood the basic foreign relations concept of deterrence. Barack Obama doesn’t, and it’s not funny.

Obama’s new nuclear policy imposes self-limitations on how we can respond to attacks. Essentially, if a country that has followed the nonproliferation treaty attacks the United States or our allies with non-nuclear weapons, we cannot respond by attacking them with nuclear weapons.

Sounds reasonable, right? Not quite. While the U.S should always avoid using nuclear weapons at all costs, taking this response off the table weakens our ability to deter future attacks.

No longer will America “walk softly and carry a big stick.” For the last 60 years, countries have been scared to attack the U.S. and our allies because they knew we could respond with utter annihilation. Obama has shelved our biggest stick.

In Hour 1, we expose the foolishness of Obama’s actions regarding U.S. nuclear policy. We also discuss the danger of a nuclear Iran, and our foreign policy failures in regards to that country. We also discuss Obamacare, and it’s monetary costs, and infringements of your liberty.

Hour 2 of this week’s podcast focuses on the state of the Tea Party movement. We survey college students about what they know of the movement, and we discuss ways to keep the movement’s momentum.

We interview Missouri Congressional Candidate Ed Martin to discuss his ongoing campaign, the tea party movement, and his ideas for cleaning up Washington. Be sure to check out the Missouri Accountability Portal to see the kind of transparency he wants to bring to the federal government.
